Hoshangabad Road (also referred to as Narmadapuram Road after the renaming of Hoshangabad city to Narmadapuram) is Bhopal's most actively developing commercial corridor, a 20+ km stretch running south-west from the city centre on NH-12 (National Highway 12). It connects Bhopal's CBD (MP Nagar / Arera Hills) to the airport in the north-west and to Hoshangabad/Narmadapuram in the south, passing through some of the city's most significant commercial infrastructure including Rani Kamalapati Railway Station (India's most modernised station), DB City Mall, Ashima Mall, and the AIIMS Bhopal campus.
