Aerocity is India's first and most advanced aerotropolis, a meticulously planned 230-acre urban development positioned immediately adjacent to Indira Gandhi International Airport's Terminals 2 and 3. Developed by GMR Group and Bharti Realty (Worldmark project), Aerocity seamlessly integrates world-class office campuses, 16 premium hotels (including Pullman, JW Marriott, Ibis, Andaz, Novotel, and Crowne Plaza), international retail, and a growing convention ecosystem. Worldmark 1, 2, and 3, the first phase of the project, spanning 7.6 acres, have been fully operational since approximately 2015–2016, collectively offering approximately 1.5 million sq ft of office and retail space. The ongoing second phase (Worldmark 4, 5, 6) is backed by an investment of $2.5 billion USD (approx. ₹20,000 crore) by Bharti Realty, with Aerocity projected to grow to over 10 million sq ft by 2029.
