MIHAN (Multi-modal International Cargo Hub and Airport at Nagpur) is one of India's most ambitious economic zone projects, a 4,025-hectare complex anchored by Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar International Airport and flanked by a 1,236-hectare multi-product Special Economic Zone developed by MADC (Maharashtra Airport Development Company). MIHAN SEZ is India's first SEZ directly linked to an airport, and its strategic location at India's geographic centre, equidistant from all four major metro markets, gives it a logistics advantage unmatched by any other Indian SEZ. The Wardha Road corridor leading to MIHAN carries the world's longest double-decker viaduct (3.14 km, Guinness World Record), with the Orange Line metro running above the highway. The Orange Line's dedicated Airport Station connects the SEZ's airport complex directly to Nagpur's metro network, with the Khapri terminal station serving the SEZ's southernmost zone.
